Rhopressa

Name: Rhopressa

Precautions While Using Rhopressa

It is very important that your eye doctor (ophthalmologist) check your progress at regular visits to make sure this medicine is working properly and to check for unwanted effects.

If itching, redness, swelling, or other signs of eye or eyelid irritation occur, check with your doctor right away.

Rhopressa Dosage and Administration

The recommended dosage is one drop in the affected eye(s) once daily in the evening.

If one dose is missed, treatment should continue with the next dose in the evening. Twice a day dosing is not well tolerated and is not recommended. If Rhopressa is to be used concomitantly with other topical ophthalmic drug products to lower IOP, administer each drug product at least 5 minutes apart [see Patient Counseling Information (17)].

Uses of Rhopressa

  • It is used to treat glaucoma.
  • It is used to lower high eye pressure.

What is Rhopressa?

Netarsudil lowers pressure inside the eye by increasing the amount of fluid that drains from the eye.

Rhopressa (for the eyes) is used to treat open-angle glaucoma or other causes of high pressure inside the eye.

Rhopressa may also be used for purposes not listed in this medication guide.
