Use this medicine as ordered by your doctor. Read all information given to you. Follow all instructions closely.

  • Use Estrace at the same time of day.
  • Follow how to use as you have been told by the doctor or read the package insert.
  • Wash your hands before use.
  • Wash your hands and applicator after use.
  • There may be days when you will not take this medicine.

What do I do if I miss a dose?

  • Use a missed dose as soon as you think about it.
  • If it is close to the time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your normal time.
  • Do not use 2 doses at the same time or extra doses.

What are some other side effects of this drug?

  • Hair loss.
  • Breast soreness.
  • Upset stomach or throwing up.
  • Cramps.
  • Bloating.
  • Vaginal bleeding or spotting.
  • Vaginal irritation.
  • This drug may cause dark patches of skin on your face. Avoid sun, sunlamps, and tanning beds. Use sunscreen and wear clothing and eyewear that protects you from the sun.
