Use Relief from urinary pain, burning, urgency and frequency associated with urinary tract infections.

Phenazopyridine is used to relieve the pain, burning, and discomfort caused by infection or irritation of the urinary tract. It is not an antibiotic and will not cure the infection itself.

In the U.S., phenazopyridine is available only with your doctor's prescription.

Phenazopyridine has been assigned to pregnancy category B by the FDA. Animal studies have failed to reveal evidence of fetal harm. There are no controlled data in human pregnancy. Phenazopyridine is only recommended for use during pregnancy when benefit outweighs risk.
