Geriatric
Appropriate studies performed to date have not demonstrated geriatric-specific problems that would limit the usefulness of vorapaxar in the elderly. However, elderly patients are more likely to have bleeding problems, which may require caution in patients receiving vorapaxar.

Other Medical Problems
The presence of other medical problems may affect the use of this medicine. Make sure you tell your doctor if you have any other medical problems, especially:
- Bleeding, active or
- Stroke, history of or
- Transient ischemic attack, history of—Should not be used in patients with these conditions.
- Bleeding problems, history of or
- Hypotension (low blood pressure) or
- Kidney problems or
- Liver problems or
- Low body weight or
- Medical procedures (eg, coronary angiography, percutaneous coronary intervention), recent or
- Surgery (eg, coronary artery bypass graft surgery [CABG]), recent—May increase risk for bleeding problems.
- Liver disease, severe—Use is not recommended in patients with this condition.
Storage
Store the medicine in a closed container at room temperature, away from heat, moisture, and direct light. Keep from freezing.
Keep out of the reach of children.
Do not keep outdated medicine or medicine no longer needed.
Ask your healthcare professional how you should dispose of any medicine you do not use.
