TriLyte Overview
What are some things I need to know or do while I take TriLyte?
- Tell all of your health care providers that you take this medicine. This includes your doctors, nurses, pharmacists, and dentists.
- Do not use other laxatives or stool softeners unless told to do so by the doctor.
- If you have phenylketonuria (PKU), talk with your doctor. Some products have phenylalanine.
- If you are over the age of 60, use TriLyte with care. You could have more side effects.
- Some drugs may be used in children. Use care if this medicine is given to a child. Talk with the doctor to see if TriLyte may be used in children. Talk with the doctor if you have questions about giving this medicine to a child.
- Tell your doctor if you are pregnant or plan on getting pregnant. You will need to talk about the benefits and risks of using TriLyte while you are pregnant.
- Tell your doctor if you are breast-feeding. You will need to talk about any risks to your baby.
If OVERDOSE is suspected
If you think there has been an overdose, call your poison control center or get medical care right away. Be ready to tell or show what was taken, how much, and when it happened.

TriLyte® with
flavor packs
(PEG-3350, sodium chloride, sodium bicarbonate
and potassium chloride for oral solution)
When reconstituted with water to a volume of 4 liters, this solution
contains PEG-3350 31.3 mmol/L, sodium 65 mmol/L, chloride
53 mmol/L, bicarbonate 17 mmol/L and potassium 5 mmol/L.
This package contains the following ingredients:
Polyethylene Glycol 3350 420 g
Sodium Bicarbonate 5.72 g
Sodium Chloride 11.2 g
Potassium Chloride 1.48 g
Store in sealed container at 25°C (77°F); excursions permitted between
15° - 30°C (59° - 86°F).
