How do I store and/or throw out Bepotastine?

  • Store at room temperature.
  • Keep lid tightly closed.

Adverse Reactions

>10%: Gastrointestinal: Dysgeusia (25%)

1% to 10%:

Central nervous system: Headache (2% to 5%)

Ophthalmic: Eye irritation (2% to 5%)

Respiratory: Nasopharyngitis (2% to 5%)

<1% (Limited to important or life-threatening): Hypersensitivity reaction, pharyngeal edema, pruritus, skin rash, swelling of lips, swollen tongue

The most common side effect reported was a mild taste following instillation.

Ocular

Common (1% to 10%): Eye irritation[Ref]

Nervous system

Very common (10% or more): Taste abnormality (25%)

Respiratory

Common (1% to 10%): Nasopharyngitis[Ref]

Hypersensitivity

Postmarketing reports: Itching, body rash, swelling of lips, tongue and/or throat

Usual Adult Dose for Allergic Conjunctivitis

Instill 1 drop into the affected eye(s) twice a day

Use: For the treatment of itching associated with allergic conjunctivitis.
