What Is Pamabrom?
Pamabrom is a diuretic (water pill). It works by increasing urination.
Pamabrom is used to treat bloating, swelling, feelings of fullness, and other signs of water weight gain related to menstrual symptoms.
Pamabrom may also be used for purposes not listed in this medication guide.
Follow all directions on your medicine label and package. Tell each of your healthcare providers about all your medical conditions, allergies, and all medicines you use.
You should not use pamabrom if you are allergic to it, or if you are unable to urinate.
Ask a doctor or pharmacist if it is safe for you to use this medicine if you have other medical conditions, especially:
- kidney disease;
- heart disease; or
- high blood pressure.
It is not known whether pamabrom will harm an unborn baby. Do not use this medicine without a doctor's advice if you are pregnant.
It is not known whether pamabrom passes into breast milk or if it could harm a nursing baby. Do not use this medicine without a doctor's advice if you are breast-feeding a baby.
Do not give this medicine to a child or teenager without medical advice.

What other drugs will affect pamabrom?
Other drugs may interact with pamabrom, including prescription and over-the-counter medicines, vitamins, and herbal products. Tell each of your health care providers about all medicines you use now and any medicine you start or stop using.
How do I store and/or throw out Pamabrom?
- Store at room temperature.
- Store in a dry place. Do not store in a bathroom.
- Keep all drugs in a safe place. Keep all drugs out of the reach of children and pets.
- Check with your pharmacist about how to throw out unused drugs.
Directions - Acetaminophen and Pamabrom
Do not take more than directed (see overdose warning)
Adults & Children 12 years and over:
Take 2 caplets every 4 to 6 hours; do not take more than 8 caplets in 24 hours, or as directed by a doctor.
Children under 12 years:
Do NOT use this adult product in children under 12 years of age; this will provide more than the recommended dose (overdose) and may cause liver damage.
Warnings - Acetaminophen and Pamabrom
Alcohol warning: If you consume 3 or more alcoholic drinks every day, ask your doctor whether you should take acetaminophen or other pain relievers/fever reducers. Acetaminophen may cause liver damage.
Do NOT use with any other product containing acetaminophen.
Stop use and ask a doctor if:
- New symptoms occur
- Redness or swelling is present
- Pain gets worse or lasts for more than 10 days
These could be signs of a serious condition.
If pregnant or breast-feeding, ask a health professional before use.
Keep out of reach of children.
Overdose warning: Taking more than the recommended dose (overdose) may cause liver damage. In case of overdose, get medical help or contact a Poison Control Center right away (1-800-222-1222). Quick medical attention is critical for adults as well as for children even if you do not notice any signs or symptoms.
