Hydrochlorothiazide and metoprolol

Hydrochlorothiazide is a thiazide diuretic (water pill) that helps prevent your body from absorbing too much salt, which can cause fluid retention.

Metoprolol is a beta-blocker. Beta-blockers affect the heart and circulation (blood flow through arteries and veins).
