Common side effects of injectable testosterone include the following:

  • Nausea and vomiting
  • Changes in skin color
  • Ankle swelling
  • Increased calcium levels in the blood
  • Enlarged breasts
  • Enlarged prostate in men
  • Deepening of the voice, the appearance of facial hair, and acne in women
