How do I store and/or throw out Avonex?
- Store in a refrigerator. Do not freeze.
- Protect from heat.
- Protect from light.
- You may store syringes or pens at room temperature. Throw away after 7 days.
- Throw away any part left over after the dose is given.
- Keep all drugs in a safe place. Keep all drugs out of the reach of children and pets.
- Check with your pharmacist about how to throw out unused drugs.
